COVID-19 vaccination News

COVID-19 Vaccination in the community is happening around the country in the coming days and weeks. Bray family practice is currently preparing plans to administer the vaccine to our patients.

Once we receive confirmation of our delivery date of the vaccine, we will be in contact with patients who qualify for the vaccine at this time.

We will be starting with patients aged 85 years and over. Once all patients over 85 years are vaccinated, then vaccination will be offered to those over 80 years, then those over 75 years and finally those over 70 years.

We will be in touch with you when you meet the criteria for vaccination.

We do not have any information in relation to vaccinating people under the age of 70 years as of yet. There is no discretion whatsoever for us to vaccinate any patient with an underlying medical condition unless they fall into the above age category.

We will update our website regularly when we have further information. The Covid19 vaccine will be offered by invitation only to the appropriate age groups. If you have changed your phone number in recent months or if you are a relative/carer of a patient who is unable to receive a call, please contact the surgery to update these details.

We will contact you to arrange your appointment for vaccination when you are eligible.

Our Meath Road surgery shall close on Friday 14th July at 12 noon. The new surgery at the Egan Centre, Upper Dargle Road shall open Monday 17th July at 2pm.
